This arrangement was meant to be a multifocal area rectangular garden-themed design. The rectangular part of the design got a bit diluted as the flowers I had to work with all came with graceful curves. The overall inspiration for this piece was the peace of winter with hints of the promise of spring. I chose a refined color palette of soft green, ivory and eventual hints of pink and purple when the flowers open to their fullest. I included the freesia and lilies for their fragrance so this arrangement will beckon to be examined more closely. I believe this design would be perfect for a late winter luncheon or rehearsal dinner.

Materials used:
Container was a faux terracotta 8 x 3 saucer .
Mechanics were instant oasis and Spanish moss.
Foliage used was pittosporum.

How the arrangment looked when first made and blooms tight
Notes to myself:
Ease: 3
Speed: 3
Field Grown Possibility: Unlikely with this combination of flowers
